James Peters, Assistant Technical Director, Nigeria Football Association (NFA),
has said that Zimbabwe will not stop Nigeria from winning the bronze medal of the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN).
Peters was reacting on Thursday to Nigeria’s 1-4 loss on penalty to Ghana after a goalless draw at regulation and an extra in one of the semi-final matches of the tournament in South Africa.
The Eagles lost the final ticket of the continental fiesta to the Black Stars who had a tight defence line.
“With what the Super Eagles played against the Black Stars (Wednesday), no matter who will come next as our opponents, they won’t stop us from getting the bronze medal as consolation”.
