South-East dwellers describe their massive support for Jonathan as "laying their eggs in one Basket"

President Goodluck Jonathan has vowed that the Peoples Democratic Party will capture the entire South-East region in the 2015 governorship election.
The President, who spoke at the Unity Rally organised to reconcile aggrieved party members in the zone on Friday, said come what may, the PDP would capture Imo State in 2015 and complete the circle in the South-East.
 The President spoke shortly after some of the security personnel drafted to  provide security at the venue of the rally in Enugu on Friday exchanged blows.
The exchange of blows, which involved members of the Nigeria Police and officials of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, was as a result of complaints of alleged harassment of policemen drafted to the rally venue by the members of the civil defence corps.

They were among several persons that lost their lives in multiple attacks unleashed by the dreaded sect in four communities.

Less than four months after its inundation, the Enugu mystery pool has dried up triggering major soil excavation by new visitors who had come for healing in the pool. The town itself which became a tourist destination a few months back, has had a fair share of the change as it has become a ghostly abandoned place.

Nigeria blasts Mugabe over corruption comments, condemns S’Africans’ hostility



ABUJA— Barely a month after President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe made derogatory remarks about Nigeria and its citizens, the Federal Government, yesterday, reacted, describing Mugabe’s statement as “unstatesmanlike and dishonourable.”

Nigeria, third on world poverty index— World Bank

THE World Bank President,  Jim Yong Kim, yesterday, at the ongoing IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings restated that Nigeria is one of the top five countries that has the largest number of poor. Nigeria, he said ranked third in the world while India ranked number one with 33 per cent of the world poor. China is ranked second with 13 per cent of the world’s poor, followed by Nigeria where seven per cent of the world poor live in. He said that Bangladesh has six per cent share of the world’s poor while the Democratic Republic of Congo has five per cent of the world’s poor population.

If you want to ever succeed in life, you must drive yourself with GOALS. This is what many people fail to do. You can never find me anytime without seven major things I plan to do that day. As a leader/minister, you are to drive your team/ministry with goals. The potential of your people will not be scratched until they have goals to achieve. Success is said to be the progressive achievement of set goals. Once you don't have goals, the potential of your team/ministry will start decaying from inside.
